Exploring Science Fundamentals:

Course Description: We will learn basic science topics, such as periodic table analysis and chemical reactions. For each major lesson, there will be hands-on and virtual labs. Students will learn how to write proper lab reports and make video lab reports. In addition to conceptual topics, this course will also cover essential formulas and techniques, such as dimensional analysis and percent yield.

Prerequisite: 7th grade and above

Duration: 10 weeks (1 hour session every Tuesday)

Intro to Spanish:

Course Description: In class, we will learn basic vocabulary, grammar topics (ex. verb conjugation), proper Spanish pronunciation, and sentence formation. There will also be speaking and writing practice. For homework, the students will be given comprehensive assignments, which could include recording practice, writing activities, and vocabulary lists. In the middle of the course, there will be a fun midterm review.

Pre-Algebra Fundamentals:

Course Description: This class will provide students with the important skills needed for Pre-Algebra. These include reading data charts, working with fractions and decimals, finding the perimeter and area, and solving inequalities. For homework, students will be given multiple practice worksheets, which will include word problems.

Prerequisite: Chosen for Pre-Algebra track in upcoming school year

Duration: 10 weeks (1 hour session every Thursday)
